A temporary exhibition featuring taxidermy and herbarium specimens which explores societal perspectives on death, challenging the notion of loss and emphasising it as a natural progression of life. Housed within the ruins of Nettleham Hall, the steel stud framework delicately occupies the space without compromising the integrity of the existing walls. The modular structure’s adaptability allows for reconstruction into various configurations, making it versatile for different locations. This project not only breathes life into once-dormant specimens but also echoes the transient revival of the vacant ruin.
